“ Fantastic Food! The Pannekoeken were super tasty. Kitchen was fast. Food came out piping hot. Even better than the food was the service by Carmen who brought our Pannekoeken singing Pannekoen it put big smiles on our faces. ”
“ Place was great . We were in town and wanted to try dutch food and what better place lol. Our server was nice and explained everything. We enjoyed a pannekoeken which gets announced for each table lol. Also had one of their delicious pumpkin muffins ! Try them out! ”
“ We visited in the middle of the afternoon so didn’t get a song with our pannekoeken. We were seated right away. Service was friendly but a bit slow. We ordered the cheese curds, blueberry pannekoeken, mettwurst and sauerkraut, and the Rotterdam. The portions were generous and the food was very good! The mettwurst is locally made and it was wonderful! ”
“ Such a fun spot! The Pannekoeken are not only delicious but also really fun to customize—it’s great that you can create your own style. I also tried the Dutch skillet, which was super tasty. There are so many muffin options (all tempting!), and the drinks were yummy too. The place has a busy, lively vibe with friendly and interactive staff that make the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit! ”
“ Stopped in on a Sunday morning around 7:40 am, just before the anticipated morning rush. Around 8 am, there was a waiting list FYI. We were greeted immediately, seated and served a carafe of coffee by the hostess. No wonder the hostess had to serve our coffee, our waitress had numerous tables as it appeared she was the only one working at the time. I think we her 9th table, however, there appeared that there were several servers waiting until 8 am to start in the wings. I think this is something that ownership should address as it was uncomfortable to watch this waitress do the best she could without complaining. Moving on, besides watching the staff gradually taking part, it was amusing and interesting hearing the servers yell, “Pannekoeken” as they brought these dishes to the tables. Some were more enthusiastic than others, it was interesting nonetheless. We were subjected to this ritual as well and it was a bit uncomfortable, but we embraced it nonetheless. The coffee was spot on, hearty and robust. Never having Pannekoeken, it was a good experience for both of us. The pecan dish was very good, tasty and hit the spot. The bacon was a nice complement to the sweetness of the dough. The mettwurst, a first for us, was a great savory sausage to complement the sweetness of both dishes. Overall, the experience was very good and recommended. The dishes were just short of a five star review, it was close though. If I lived in the area, I think I would be a regular and visit quite often. It’s worth a trip IMO. ”
